dc.description.abstractThe use of tubes for fluid transport comes from earliest times; are efficient and practical by enabling the confluence by means of threaded connections, thus allows large joints lengths. These are low-cost, easy implementation and disassembly; are recommended for smaller diameter pipes. Connections are linked with the aid of a key emphasis, which may vary in size, depending on the diameter of the tube. These variations of size, in relation to the arm of each key, do not allow the torque generated by the operator to provide the same amount of torque in the different diameters of the pipes. Under these conditions, an insufficient tightening may cause leakage, as well as excessive may cause mechanical failure, which to be corrected will cost time. So, it is observed that the unions of these threaded connections occur without any parameters. Soon, it is proposed to solve this problem sizing a clamping machine for threaded connections which will suit diameters of 1 to 2 inches.
