This work consists in a dynamic and static study about two chassis, destined to energy efficiency competitions, followed by a comparative analaysis of the models’ structural behavior. The active loads on the vehicles were determined through concepts of vehicular dynamics. With the support of computational simulations, responses were obtained regarding stresses and deformations, which, along with the calculations of vehicles dynamics, complete the information base to compare the two chassis. The analyzes shows that stresses and deformations remain constant in most of the structure and the torcional stiffness of model 1 is 5,14% higher than model 2.
