The chicken bed consists of excreta from chickens to promote zootechnical comfort for chickens. The bed is distributed on the floor of sheds that serves as a bed, a support for the birds. This material has a good source of nutrients, and when properly handled, can partially or completely supply chemical fertilizer, improving physical, chemical and biological attributes. In this context, the present work evaluates the different cycles of poultry litter used in poultry production by analyzing chemical and physical parameters such as pH determination, total organic carbon content, nitrogen content, ammonia volatilization, A comparison between the different breeding cycles of birds. The pH in relation to all analyzed cycles led to basic values in both CaCl2 solution and water, and in CaCl2 solution the highest value was obtained for the 3 cycle with pH 9,01 and the lowest value was found in the 7 cycle with pH 8,24. For water, the highest value was also found for the 3 cycle with pH 8,54 while the lowest pH was also obtained in the 7 cycle with pH 8,09. The values found for the moisture content were satisfactory, since there were no significant variations. In the evaluation of the organic carbon content present in each cycle there was an average variation of 2,94 between the 3 cycle and the 7 cycle and for the pelletized it varied around 3,73 in relation to the 3 to the 7 cycle. For the values obtained of the total nitrogen, the 3 cycle to the 5 cycle occurs a decrease of the nitrogen content and the 6 cycle to the pellet a small increase. In relation to the C/N, the variation in relation to the organic carbon and the nitrogen present in each cycle is considerable due to the variation in C/N ratio. However, even if variations are obtained between each cycle, the chicken litter can be used in agriculture, bringing quality both to the soil and to the cultivated plants fertilized with this product.
