dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an investigation on reasons of failure and its frequency in instruments with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function. For that, the system was considered unrepairable, and it was used the life data analysis technique or reliability engineering surviving technique. These methods identify the failure modes behavior from statistics analysis of data. The mentioned analysis has the purpose of the creation of stochastic models which expresses the failures behaviors, based on the failure historic of the system being studied. For the data processing was applied Microsoft Excel software, and the ReliaSoft Weibull++ was used for the observation of the results based on probabilistic methods. From these results, was possible to investigate the system behaviors as well as to trace a comparison between reasons of failure by region, and it was noticed that power and internet failures are the most relevant for future analysis and actions. | |
