dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a study of the issues concerning the role of social media in the construction of social identity of the postmodern people. This work analyzes issues pertaining to post-‐modernity, and more specifically the issues of identity within that context from the viewpoint of different theorists, and primarily from the perspective of the sociologist Zygmunt Bauman on identities in the liquid modern world. The job search then try to understand what is the role of technology and social media in the construction of social identity of the postmodern individual through literature reviews and the methodology of cultural probes. | |
