dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with the study of a DC-DC converter with the split-inductor type boost topology and the use of a buck-boost active clamping for soft-switching. It encompasses the converter qualitative and mathematical analyses. In addition, the design, construction and testing of a 260 W prototype intended to be used in photovoltaic systems with a reduced number of solar panels and that have an inverter stage. The study proposes a possible solution for applications requiring high voltage gains with reduced losses and high efficiency.
