dc.description.abstractThe teaching resources are characterized as important tools for intellectual development, through them can increase knowledge and enhance of learning. As a teaching resource has the comic books that stimulate the development of reading, in various subjects. The insects have been illustrated in the comics as heroes or just giving focus to your daily habits. Thus, the present study aimed to develop Comics (HQ’s) on insect forest importance to primary education, with the theme: "The insects leave the forest." The illustrations of insects were made from observing them in the field, collecting them and using photographic records in the Municipal Park Jirau Alto, located in the city of Dois Vizinhos -PR. It was observed the habits of insects, the characteristics and the relationship with the habitat and its structures so compose and formulate the artistic representation. The stories were generated through a visual narrative, dealing with this insect's relationship with the forestry area. The techniques used to paint the drawings were graphite, watercolor, pastels and crayons permanent. All techniques were very important and they were chosen as features that best fit to portray each copy. The illustrations composed four HQs, with four different insects. The insects were represented: 1) Bees - being represented one of his disappearance factors and their relationship with insects and pollination; 2) Ants - were represented their damage on plant species and their organization; 3) Sawyer Beetle- stood out especially this insect development cycle; 4) Predator Ladybugs - the story was drawn up based on the ratio carried by these insects for biological control of aphids. The illustrations with the HQs of insects are combined in the study of Entomology, positively contributing to the pedagogical objectives. Moreover, it is a playful tool more for teaching. Thus, the comics produced in this work are a rich materials paradidactic and contextualized in the teaching of Entomology.
