dc.description.abstractThe RAM analysis of a complete production process is still not usual in Brazilian industry in general, where there are still productive losses and catastrophic failures due to the lack of resources in the most appropriate place. The objective of this work is to identify the main causes that directly affect the availability of the ladle desulphurisation stations at Arcelormittal Tubarão KR (Kambara Reactor), contemplating the two seasons and the Skimmer 03. This plant is original from 2007 and its operating demand has been increasing due to the increase in the quality of the steel produced in Tubarão. The data source used covers the years 2016 to 2019, with maintenance management software (SISMANA and SAP) and production bulletin information, which will be analyzed in the BlockSim and Weibull ++ softwares, identifying the current reliability of the system in a quantitative, beyond the characteristic fault curves. With the results, it is possible to act in the main causes of plant shutdown, which generate high costs of maintenance, loss of production and timing of the steelworks.
