dc.description.abstract | This work deals with the development and simulation of a residential energy management algorithm that integrates the energy photovoltaic production and an energy storage system based on batteries. The main purpose of the algorithm is minimizing monthly the energy billing. It operates maximizing the use of the energy
produced by the photovoltaic panels and use of the storage capacity of the batteries based on the characteristics of the residential energy tariffs foreseen in Brazil. The management tool is evaluated by means of simulation of case studies. | |
