Sistema automatizado de lubrificação de transmissão por correntes para motocicletas

Abstract

This research presents an alternative to the reduction of motorcycle maintenance costs by improving the lubrication process of the secondary transmission for lowdisplacement motorcycles. Addresses the difficulties of implementing the lubricating on the transmissions, techniques applied by motorcycle riders, existing solutions on the market, as well as the benefits and shortcomings of each technique shown. It proposes a better solution through a prototype that automates the lubrication process, and for archetype construction are applied research and product development methodologies available in literature to improve the mechanical conception, the electronics systems and the programming language to allowing the most efficient product within the resources financial available for this study. For the performance, evaluation of the proposed solution are applied, by shooting test, a methodology of measurement wear down of the transmission components, allowing the performance comparison of the manual and automated parts lubrication. As a result, it prove that lubrication automatic of the secondary transmission for motorcycles generates significant gains in component life and financial savings.
