Implementação da manutenção centrada em confiabilidade em um moinho de trigo

Abstract

During the most recent period of decades, inter-company promotion continues to grow, while the market becomes more demanding with the quality of products used, which must be achieved with low cost and high utilization. It considered this, as companies invest in the maintenance area that offers equipment conservation, cost reduction, asset breakdown reduction and greater equipment availability, which increases their production quality and consequently the products. The present work presents the wheat milling process, the types of maintenance and the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) application steps in this type of industry. This study aims to show the application of RCM in a mechanical wheat milling machine, reducing the number of equipment breakdown and reducing its operational availability. To conduct this study, interviews were conducted with those involved in the maintenance of the factory, an analysis of the production process, a collection of data from the maintenance sector and, through the registration and analysis of acquired information assembled in a RCM proposal. After the completion of these steps, the proposed model for a company is expected, so that it presents better results with regard to maintenance.
