dc.description.abstractThe objective of this paper is to verify the use of the didactic sequences in science and mathematic activities for Early Childhood Education. The methodology aims at a better organization for pedagogic job as well as the development of projects for the activities in the areas of knowledge proposed by MEC (Ministry of Education) for this teaching mode. For a better growing of this research, it was based on the Social-historical theory about childhood education and human besides studies about didactic sequences and cross-curriculum. This is a methodological and practical research which made use of inductive method e observation. It was developed in 2008, in a private school of Ponta Grossa, in a level 4classroom with four year old students. Data collection occurred through the step by step proposed by didactic sequence: introduction of the situation and initial production, modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and final production. The didactic sequence will be the final product of this paper with the intention of applying it in Early Childhood education programs. As a result of research, there was greater interaction between students and the content of Sciences and Mathematics, from the proposed project “Planting energy harvesting health”.
