Aplicação da teoria das restrições (TOC) na identificação de gargalos em uma linha de produção de transformadores

Abstract

The following work is a study based on the theme TOC, theory of restrictions, which aims to identify production bottlenecks in the Power Winding sector, where the copper wire coils of high-power electrical transformers are wound. This study sought to identify these bottlenecks to obtain the objective of reducing the manufacturing times of these windings, due to the high added value in the time of their manufacture, through simple and economical alternatives to remove from the bottlenecks jobs or processes that can be performed cheaper labor and outside winding machines. In this study, vertical winding machines were analyzed, using the data obtained directly in the process and in the company’s systems, SAP, methods and processes and in the PPCP. In this way, it was possible to identify the bottlenecks and the operations that add, or not, value to the process. Finally, by analyzing the current situation of the process and applying the knowledge obtained from the theory of restrictions, it was possible to implement improvements that resulted in a reduction in production costs and an increase in hourly / machine capacity.
