dc.description.abstract | The need to know better the customers and consequently to achieve a higher profit, makes supermarkets look for solutions to better know their consumers, generate greater profits and acquire more fidelity. One way for these organizations to achieve these goals is by consolidating important and specific statistical data about their sales and the characteristics of their customers. However, for this data collection and customer knowledge to occur, the consumer must indirectly expose their characteristics and means of consumption so that the supermarket can abstract mass data. This can be done through an application that uses shopping lists. Given that after the stored data, supermarkets can use a web system to access this information in a consolidated and easily interpreted way as: dashboards and statistical reports. Aiming at speed, low data traffic and interoperability, the system will have pure and unique access through web services calls in Representational State Transfer (REST) with Javascript Object Notation (JSON) data format. Through this system-generated BI, they will be able to evaluate their best strategies and direct their decision-making, aiming to acquire the profit and trust of their clients. These new data will present to supermarkets numbers that were not previously seen, since there was no individual and consolidated detail of the purchases of their customers. | |
