O ensino na obra De Magistro, de Tomás de Aquino

Abstract

After receiving the works of Aristotle in the Middle Ages, there was a great influence on Western thought that preceded the 13th century, especially in the works of Thomas Aquinas, who assimilated the new Aristotelian concepts, and added them to the thinking of the Middle Ages. The objective of this research is to present the conceptions about teaching in De Magistro, by Thomas Aquinas, in the light of the context of universities and Aristotelian philosophy, in order to better understand his idea about the subject. Furthermore, the work allows us to demonstrate that in the medieval period, there was intellectual innovation and development, unlike the concept of the Middle Ages diffused by the Illuminism.
