dc.description.abstractThe cement industry generally uses limestone as the main raw material in the cement production process, for this purpose there are ore deposits that are explored to obtain limestone, after the limestone extraction the raw material must reach the factories for processing, and exactly At this point where the present work will carry out the study to implement the control of access of raw material to the industry, aiming to remedy problems such as divergences in product stock, reduction of calibration of road scales and better control for payments to logistics suppliers. The automation will be performed in the identification of trucks when entering the road scale of the factory, where currently the identification of trucks is done manually and subject to human failures, which may cause financial losses to the company and equipment shutdowns. The ordinance where the raw material accesses the company currently has a road scale that is linked to the company’s management system and sends the weight data automatically, and to make the trucks automatic identification, the study suggests RFID radio frequency identification. , a technology widely used in highways and private parking access control and can be perfectly added to the current structure used by the company, where the demand for the study arose.
