dc.description.abstractThis work thematic is to identify strategy formulation tools from the private sector in the methodologies of the Strategic Schools of Thought "Planning", "Positioning" and "Entrepreneurship", which can be adapted for the public sector, contributing to the development the so-called Strategic Planning Government – PEG, enabling the development of a proposed model of strategic planning for the public sector using this tool, plus the already widely used BSC - Balanced Scorecard. It is hoped that this work will be useful and contribute as a further step of the Brazilian Public Administration from the path of transforming the state required for the state inherited, and can be added, at least in part, to the fledgling Government Strategic Planning - PEG.
