dc.description.abstractMicroenterprises need to be more competitive in the market, and for this, it is necessary that their processes be more productive and with less waste. To achieve improvements tools and techniques are implemented, including Lean Production (Toyota Production System) are implemented. Thus, the main objective of the work is propose the improvement of a candy production line (pre-existing line) in a microenterprise using lean production concepts. A study was carried out in a candy microenterprise. In order to increase the production of the sweet production line, it was necessary to study the manufacturing process, applying production concepts such as Value Stream Mapping (MFV), Toyota methodology, quality management system. The main result was the proposal of the new layout for the company’s production line, where Ishikawa analyzes, 5W2H methodology and value stream mapping were performed. In addition, it also identified improvements in occupational safety and hygiene items. The study of the new layout showed improvements in the production flow and value flow of the company’s production line.
