Meio ambiente, política ambiental e os instrumentos econômicos no estado do Paraná

Abstract

The development of society has led to a series of environmental problems due to increasing population pressure on natural resources. Currently the interest in the environment has been growing since it was realized that man's survival depends largely on him. The growing dilemma between economy and environment, has been the subject of several authors of environmental economics. Seeking to ensure the protection of the environment and develop a sustainable state, the state government of Parana with its Environmental Policy and adoption of economic instruments as a complement to traditional command and control instruments. Thus the main objective of this work is to investigate the use of economic instruments in selected cases in the State of Paraná.
