Estudo de análise de risco de oleoduto: avaliação e atualização parcial

Abstract

For pipelines, risk analysis needs to follow up population dynamics of the region which it is inserted, due to the operational development occurring in external areas. This study was carried out aiming to assess the Risk Analysis Study of a pipeline in operation, elaborated in 2006, updating the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA). Related to the pipeline structure characterization, it was observed a population growth along the pipeline right of way in the period among 2006 to 2017. Considering the presented Preliminary Risk Analysis, an accident historical data analysis was conducted based on data available at CONCAWE and UKOPA, supporting the hazard identification, where hazard were considered small, medium and large leakages, as required in the norms, obtaining a tolerability degree to each accidental scenario. For the quantitative analysis, the main required items of the updated norms was presented, highlighting the converging points and the items of attention in the revision. Regarding the results, this study has accomplished the foremost goal which is updating qualitative data of the pipeline, main step of the Risk Analysis Study, comparing with the results presented in 2006 and the most up-to-date information required by the environmental agencies.
