Avaliação do nível de conhecimento e atendimento à NBR 15575 - norma de desempenho de edificações em empresas construtoras na cidade de Campo Mourão - PR

Abstract

The NBR 15575, known as Performance Standard, specifies the performance levels that the buildings must have, regardless of the construction system, the number of floors and materials used in construction, in order to be attentive to the users' needs. The objective of this work was to analyze the level of knowledge about this performance standard by the construction companies located in Campo in Mourão, Paraná, given the importance to execute and apply requirements of habitability, safety and sustainability in housing construction. The methodology consisted in the elaboration of a form, which was applied in those companies. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, in order to provide an overview of the current scenario in the region. Completed the study, is perceptible that yet very disinterest by the part of the construction professionals to attend the standard and some concerns about its rising costs, besides de lack of necessary information used in building development, provided both by designers and suppliers.
