| dc.description.abstract | Due to the great growth of the cities and the emission of pollutants that have occurred in the last decades, it was observed the need of the monitoring and control of these pollutants and their concentration in confined environments. Therefore, it is proposed the development of a low-cost system that can perform the monitoring and control of these emissions using devices and equipment with wireless communication through the IEEE 802.15.4 communication protocol in the range of 2.4 GHz to 900 MHz To monitor the system, using point-to-point connected gas sensor systems, allowing flexibility to expand the system to a mesh network or other topologies whenever necessary. The scope of the research and study is delimited in the performance of the system to carry out the monitoring and control of a prototype, it will be carried out the comparison with the data collected in the field with the data acquired in the laboratory tests. | |
