Freezer Tropicália

Abstract

The proposed project is called "Tropicalia Freezer". The inspiration and demand came from a startup called Tropicalia. The project’s goal is to facilitate the selling of frozen meals through an automated system that could be installed in several different places without the need for a cashier. To achieve that, the team has adapted a freezer with an embedded system that counts the number of frozen meals taken by the user. It also controls the opening and closing of the locks that allow access to the products. The freezer connects to a mobile app through Bluetooth, allowing the user to ask for the locks to open and pay for the number of frozen meals taken.
