dc.description.abstractThe research presented is part of the educational scope on teacher’s formation and teaching strategies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the difficulties encountered by the technical education of average level integrated teachers by using the experimentation as a teaching strategy, and how these affect the process of teaching and student learning. The theoretical reference adopted situated the evolution of physics teaching in Brazil, as well as official documents that guide the development of the school curriculum, the development of projects for physics teaching and conceptions of didactic laboratories present in the literature. Data collection was conducted through the answers to a questionnaire given to students and teachers of disciplines Physics 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8 of technical education of UTFPR. The analysis of the questionnaires have led to findings that the inclusion of laboratory activities, even developed in the same environment, it is done in a different way by each teacher. So have been identified diverse thoughts from students of different classes on the importance of using experiments in Physics classes.
