Utilização de fôrmas metálicas e mistas para concreto armado: aspectos executivos e econômicos

Abstract

One of the existing approaches, within the field Civil Construction, to reach greater efficiency and productivity, is to make use of Technologies, linked to building methods and materials, that are proven to improve construction techniques, speeding up scheduled activities and reducing costs. The presente paper consists in the analysis of a specific technology, namely, the use of metalic concrete formwork, focused on productivity and costs, to a posterior comparison between the analised sistem and the wooden concrete formwork. The study was conducted through field research, following the construction of a infraestructure enterprise, at Bombinhas-SC. Data were collected on daily productivity, along with the costs of the applied formwork system, and a further comparison between the described activity and a theoretical simulation of the same activity, using wooden formwork. The research is complemented by informal interviews with the employees, including those responsible for manpower aswell as contractors.
