This research investigated the behavior of two trajectory techniques in the milling of an advanced high-strength steel (AHSS), Hardox® 500 steel of the SSAB brand. The objective of this work was to measure the hardness of the material, verifying if it is the same informed by the manufacturer, and then choose the best machining strategy through the analysis of roughness, tool wear and corrosion rate. In milling, rejoinders were carried out so that the roughness measurement could be performed. The wear analysis was performed using optical microscopy, the corrosion rate was performed from tests according to ASTM G59-97 standard. Considering the parameters used, the strategy that showed the best performance was the Zig-Zag.
