Gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos em uma indústria de colchões

Abstract

This study had as objective the diagnosis and documentation of the generation of solid waste in a factory and foam mattresses, situated in the municipality of Céu Azul, in the West of Paraná, using a gravimetric survey for obtaining qualitative data and quantity of waste generated during the entire production process in the industry. This survey pointed out that the main discarded materials are papers (283.54 kg/month) and plastics (194 kg/month). Data that helped to deploy a system of collectors who follow the norm of CONAMA No. 275 of 2001. This sorting of materials was also essential for the creation of spreadsheets, which serve to document and to make the correct destination.
