Abstract

The livestock market is continuously growing, making that the large amount of generated data require management. The developed software in this project is designed to manage a livestock property while maintaining the data on the web. The system is directed to the managing of production, animals, health events, purchases and sales. The cloud stored data are accessible from any device with internet access and a web browser to navigation. This work was designed using Java and JavaServer Faces framework aiming to improving the knowledge on the language and its association with the technology. The main difficulties in the elaboration of this work were the absence of a well-defined scope and an sparse initial documentation.
