The present study aims to describe the floristic composition and structure of a community in a forest fragment and discuss some dendrometric characteristics of the components of the area. This community is part of the region's seasonal semideciduous forest and is located in the municipality of Moreira Sales, PR. Were located in the area, six plots of 200 m², of which 57 species were measured, 24 with CAP ≥ 15 cm and 23 species in natural regeneration stratum. The families Urticaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Anacardiaceae have the greatest riches in the number of individuals. Cecropiapachystachya, Alchorneatriplinervia, a undetermined specie of Anacardiaceae, Anadenantheracolubrinawere the most important species of plant community studied. The heights vary from 2.60 m to the lower stratum trees to 16.50 m, for emergent trees. The distribution of frequencies of the circumferences, there is the great majority of the trees cap presents less than 50 cm, approximately 79.63% of individuals.
