dc.description.abstractThe current study was proposed as reasons to search for ways that enable better understanding of the events occurring in the teaching of reading and reading practices in the period of initiation of students in the early grades of elementary school and in search of true importance to can give to the reading habit, since children's literature provides subsidies that contribute to the structural basis for the formation mirim reader. The research explores the interest in knowledge of their readers to understand that to be changes in the future, we must take good care of this, so need to promote the reading habit from the early grades to let readers are able to understand the actual text read. It is important to have the help of distinguished authors who are part of some kind of extraction of wisdom and knowledge of the human being, the theoretical foundations are authors that enable better see this fantastic world that is reading and literatures. Field research has made us understand some problems encountered by teachers with the work of developing the habit of reading and how to resolve conflicts in school seeking a qualitative learning about reading.
