Implementação da metodologia PDCA em conjunto com as ferramentas da qualidade na redução de defeitos por unidade no processo de transferência de cabines em uma indústria automobilística

Abstract

The present work aims to propose the implementation of the PDCA methodology and quality tools to reduce defects per unit (DPU) in the cabins of vehicles produced in an automobile industry. To obtain the data, analyzes of the production process and the main points of loss related to defects in the maintenance sector were analyzed. The prioritization of the data was through indicators and based on the history of defects generated by the equipment and its impact so that the planning of the guidelines could be found to find the root cause of the problem. Root cause analyzes were elaborated based on the Ishikawa Diagram and the action plan developed based on the five whys tool. Finally, a 75% improvement in indicators was achieved demonstrating the effectiveness of the methodology in solving problems in a productive process.
