“Yes, women can do it”: uma proposta de vestuário adequado à rotina das mulheres contemporâneas

Abstract

This research aims to meet the practical, aesthetic and symbolic clothing needs of contemporary working professionals who work in a more formal setting. The methodology was collecting information through questionnaires and interviews conducted in the cities of Curitiba and Apucarana. With this information we seek to understand the routine work of these women in order to provide them with a suitable environment with your workwear. Besides literature was studied on the emancipation of women and their evolution in society, what was the role of women in society in the nineteenth century and the role of women in society today, an ergonomic study was also carried out to solve the problems of women's attire for work.
