dc.description.abstract | In this work, the control of a brushless motor using the Field-Oriented Control and six-step methods was addressed. The theoretical concepts necessary for these controllers were presented, in addition to the necessary tools for implementation. Experimental results were also presented. The parameters and engine data were obtained through a test routine, thus allowing the correct configuration of the control methods. Programming of control methods and motor drive was performed with the STEVAL-SPIN3201 development kit due to the flexibility and portability of implementation. In addition, the kit is compatible with a wide range of engines. As a result, it was possible to observe the response to speed variation of each control for a motor with a nominal power of 166 W, that the FOC control has a faster response and less oscillation than the six-step control. The work developed provides a sequence of guidelines for the collection of motor, control and drive data using the kit STEVAL-SPIN3201. | |
