dc.description.abstractThe objective of the present work was to extract the oil from the line (Linun usitatissimun L.) and chia (Salvia hispanica L.) evaluating the different methods of extraction using Soxhlet and Ultrasonic Assisted using the solvents n-hexane and cereal alcohol. The average yield of oil obtained was 39.63% for row seed and 31.97 for chia seed, with the Soxhlet method being defined as being more effective compared to ultrasound using n-hexane as the solvent.
