dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to analyse the several alternatives to improve the quality of the indicators of the electric power supply of distribution in Brazil. Due to the requirements of ANEEL, the electric utility needs to keep these levels low. Therefore new Smart Grid equipments will be introduced to be installed in distribution networks, as outcome there will be an increase in the system reliability, a decrease in the interruption of electricity, it will be faster and accurate to locate the problem, moreover the system by itself will be able to replace the charges and set apart the defects areas.
