dc.description.abstractThis work presents a study of the harmonic behavior of a full bridge frequency inverter connected to the distribution network and operating in a stand-alone system. It presents concepts of frequency inverter operation, two- and three-level sinusoidal pulse width modulation techniques, harmonic’s analysis techniques as well as passive filter concepts. Through simulation, it shows the influence of the variation of modulation and filter characteristics on the harmonic distortion caused by inverters with resistive and inductive loads. It also compares the results obtained with the values allowed by the standard ABNT NBR 16149: 2013, which establishes the requirements for connections of photovoltaic systems to the distribution network.
