This paper discusses the process of reprogramming a programmable logic controller PLC) which has lost its original program due to lack from battery that keeps its programming (software) in the memory of it, this is a problem we had with the older controllers as we will address. This type of service, programming or improving the logic of an existing machine is given the name of retrofit in industrial language. The machine in question comes to an outfeed conveyor, which is the final module of the series constituting a cardboard corrugator responsible for taking the stacks of cardboard sheets to the forklift operator to allocate the stack to the proper location of storage. This automation is necessary to reduce personnel costs and so there is no cardboard accumulation in the process output.
