Abstract

This paper discusses a cost analysis drawn up in a company engaged in the metal industry in the city of Francisco Beltrão in order to assist their managers in the knowledge of the real cost of the manufacturing of your product and its contribution to the growth of the company. On the information presented by the company's partners were applied to the costing methods for absorption and variable considered interesting in this case to solve the problem at hand. Applied the necessary calculations showed that the variable method presented better information to company managers.
