dc.description.abstractTo adopt control measures and safety on roads and highways, there are three approaches to this complex situation, education, engineering and enforcement of traffic laws (CTB) more effectively. This work was to identify and analyze the risks involved in the implementation of automatic monitoring equipment and machinery (radar) on the highway. The methodology used was a case study with qualitative analysis. The main risks identified were: physical risks with non-ionizing radiation, noise, and vibration, ergonomic risks with work standing, improper posture and intense effort work, chemical risks, vapors and dusts, accident risks with trampling, injuries, down level, electric shock, object fall on, inadequate signaling work. With analyzed and identified risks have been suggested measures to minimize these risks through the use of EPI's and EPC's as the use of reflective clothing, hat, safety shoes, goggles, sunscreen cream, seat belts, signaling suitable work. Another suggested security measure was the appropriate signage considering the minimum distances required for isolation of the installation site. To meet the rules, you should comply with the NR 6, N10, NR11, NR17 and NR 35.
