dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the development of a three-port DC-DC converter for stand-alone power generation through photovoltaic module in order to increase the autonomy of a mobile computer. Presented in it are a study of the subject and the choice of the converter, the simulation of its operation, and the presentation of the project, the prototype construction design, and the analysis of results. The converter obtained is based on the use of a PV module with voltage at maximum power of about 15V, a 12V battery and feeds a laptop with 19 V and 2.5 A. The operation of the converter was adequate; however, the efficiency of the same was close to 80%, slightly lower than expected.
