This work intends to verify the improvement on efficiency and the capacity of miniaturization from the appliance of fractal antennas in comparison with regular antenna designs in this case a filamentary antenna, that design was chosen because is the most common at applications in mobile technology, television and radio. The analysis was made by using a script with the transformations to create the fractal design and then simulate the design in the software HFSS. At this time, an important part of electronic devices it is the ability to connect with other ones through Wi-Fi technologies and different protocols of communication. However, that kind of connection has a problem when analyzed his efficiency. With the tendency of miniaturization of devices and the search for energetic efficiency, electronic has found an obstacle at the antenna design. That are difficult to reduce the size of an antenna without losing efficiency using the classic Euclidian geometry. So a new technique is necessary to design the antennas, and in the 80’s with the union of a new kind of geometry that describe highly detailed figures known as fractals and the antenna theory, was build the fractal electrodynamics.
