Experimentation in the teaching of physics is a practice restricted to schools with more structured laboratories, as it demands high financial resources, given the costs for setting up and maintaining these dedicated spaces. An alternative scenario arises from the use of the teachers’ own creativity – combined with projects developed in the scenario of research groups working in science education – when faced with scrapped schools or with little structure. In this context, this work aims at using Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) focusing on the use of video analysis with the software Tracker to inspire and to foster the development of activities and spaces for experimentation in physics teaching. The goal of the project is to create video analysis teaching workshops for physics and science teachers with focus on Tracker. The research methodology applied is based on a qualitative approach which characterizes an applied research. The workshop proposal was developed after a systematic literature review on the topic of video analysis. Thus, didactic sequences in experimental physics were created, based on the use of video analysis with Tracker, to support in-person workshops in a series of encounters, totaling four to twelve hours. The didactic materials developed for the workshops constitute the product of this master’s thesis. In addition, to monitor and validate the proposal, group debates and questionnaires were organized to deepen the discussion of the research and improve the work.
