dc.description.abstractSecondary Voltage Control has been studied since the 1970s in countries such as the USA, Canada and France, where it's currently implemented in their power systems. As it isn't applied yet in Brazil, this research area demonstrates relevance for its development. This study proposes to evaluate the implementation of Secondary Voltage Control using an IEEE 30-bus test system, through static and dynamic simulation in ANAREDE and ANATEM softwares and data processing in MATLAB software. Data shows that the application of Secondary Voltage Control ensures greater voltage stability. Future studies may associate other equipment that could possibly affect system performance
