dc.description.abstractData supervision and acquisition systems allow production processes and physical facilities in general are monitored by equipment present in the physical environment. The data and information collected can be analyzed, manipulated, processed, stored and also displayed to users. Through SCADA systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) can develop solutions that use computer and communications technology to automate processes, allowing for remote monitoring and control applications to be developed and used in various branches of industry. The components of a monitoring system are basically sensors, actuators, computer applications interface and communication networks. This paper presents the development of a temperature and humidity monitoring system applicable to processes that require special attention to these parameters, which occurs in activities such as vegetable cultivation, food handling and management of animals, for example. For this a network of wireless sensors with IEEE 802.15.4 communication standard is implemented for data acquisition, using temperature and humidity sensors Data collection and communication between devices and SCADA system are managed by the microcontroller with the operating system real-time BRTOS. As a supervisory system is used ScadaBR, which via Modbus RTU protocol establishes communication with the microcontroller, feeding the system interface with temperature and humidity information supplied by the sensors in real time.
