Utilização da lógica fuzzy para gestão de estoque: um estudo de caso para uma indústria de esmagamento de soja

Abstract

The management of a spare parts storage is a complex process, with many variables to be analyzed. Besides that, a storage that is not being managed properly can modify the profit margin of a service or a product. In this way, it can be justified that a company should maintain the minimum quantity in the storage and, in this case study, it is used a system based on fuzzy lock to demonstrate those minimum amounts that should be kept. The logic is based on a set of rules that was obtained through flow charts that was made by specialists of the company. With the proposed quantities given by the system, it is possible to reduce about 40% (equivalent to R$ 8,5 millions) of the money that is consumed to buy and hold spare parts in the storage in the case of this crush soy industry, not to mention that the total quantity of items in storage should be 20% less.
