dc.description.abstractThis research aims to present the operation and safety reliability of the certifying authorities in digital signatures, in order to analyze its main characteristics and disseminate knowledge; it is still currently unknown to many students and people. The certification is a digital signature with legal validity that ensures protection to electronic transactions and other services via the Internet, allowing people and businesses to identify and digitally sign anywhere in the world with more safety and agility. This new technology that makes use of encryption keys refers to a solution for the problems encountered in the vulnerabilities of the information flowing in the networks. So this way the digital certification provides a set of mechanisms to guarantee the endorsements of confidentiality and integrity of data providing greater security to users. This research was conducted based on books, websites and articles as well as the exchange of information with specialists in the area of technology.
