dc.description.abstractThe main goal of this work was to compare the spatial variation data of water quality parameters (physical-chemical and biological) with conama legislation 357/2005, conama 274/2000 and forest code law 12.651/2012. The study was conducted in m’boicy river microbasin, located in the municipality of foz do iguaçu- pr. It was possible to analyze that the m’boicy river microbasin has an absence of 49% of permanent preservation area (app) in the margins, having as legal reference the forest code law 12.651/2012, through the geoprocessing tool it was possible to demarcate area of existing riparian vegetation and those that need to be restored. The water quality situation of five sampling points was evaluated in four days of collection in the months of september to october, using a horiba u50 multiparameter probe, where the following parameters were analyzed: temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and ph. The analysis of the variables biochemical demand for oxygen and thermotolerant coliforms and escherichia coli were taken to the laboratory of itaipu, and the biological variables were only made one collection on 09/14/2017. In view of the parameters analyzed, a number of factors that contribute to the m’boicy river water quality may not be satisfactory. It is recommended that monitoring of water quality, physical-chemical and biological parameters should be carried out for a minimum of one year and that a revitalization plan be implemented to improve the conditions of the m’boicy river basin.
