Análise da acessibilidade aos portadores de necessidades especiais no calçamento público da região central de Campo Mourão-PR

Abstract

Accessibility is a right to everyone, according to the universal right to come and go that belongs to all citizens and promotes the inclusion of part of the population to the urban daily life. Therefore the legislation are stimulating public politics for physical changes in the cities in order to attend people with special needs and impaired mobility whether those are permanent or not. This work records an analysis of accessibility related to public sidewalks at downtown region of Campo Mourão based on the Municipal Ordinance n° 4763/10 that establishes criteria and regulates the building, reconstruction and repairs of public walkways. By means of field surveys and according to parameters of floor applications, vegetation, ramps, obstacles and pavement situation, the positive points and inadequacies were found. The study yet pointed iminent necessities of repair and improvement of accessibility on the proposed cases.
