dc.description.abstractThe study has as its theme the challenges of inclusion, establishing the general objective of demonstrating the difficulties faced by schools and teachers as well as forms and / or strategies to promote the improvement of teaching students with special needs, as well as its perfect integration in the educational system and in society deepening theoretical and methodological knowledge involved the teachinglearning process. For specific objectives were outlined: check with the regular education teachers that the main difficulties encountered in the inclusion of students with special needs; determine what resources are used by teachers to facilitate the learning process for students with special needs; and investigate with the family of the disabled have occurred behavioral changes in their children after their inclusion in mainstream education. The methodological procedures involved the descriptive, exploratory study, quantitative and literature. The results indicated that teachers consider necessary the inclusion of students with special needs in regular schools, but there is still no adequate support for it, as required by law, which makes the teacher's work very difficult. Despite the difficulties, parents and teachers agree that the student included an evolution in relation to themselves when they interact in the classroom regular education.
