dc.description.abstract | The project consists of a fully metallic structure, which represents a model of building, and it has the purpose of vibration analysis. The system is composed of a base and “floors” made of aluminum that is fixed (by common screws) to stainless steel plates (sustention) by pieces of steel (that has long “l” shape). Moreover, the concept has 4 compressions springs attached to its base (it will provide the option to study earthquake analysis). The experimental arrangement has 4 degrees of freedom. The data collected from the excitation were transmitted to a software and it was possible to obtain corresponding graphs to the displacement of the structure both in the field of time and frequency. From the analysis, it was possible to determine the structural parameters and verify the system’s behavior. It has made possible to allow the validation of the model. | |
